Tuskegee University seeks a Director of Teaching and Innovation to lead faculty development, instructional design, and course quality across TU Global Campus. The role focuses on improving accessibility, leveraging Canvas and other instructional technologies, and coordinating online and campus-based instruction.

Reporting to the Executive Director of TU Global Campus, the Director will guide training, support, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning initiatives, partnering with

• Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, curriculum and instruction, higher education, or related field.
• At least five years of experience in instructional design, faculty development, teaching and learning, educational technology, online learning, or related higher education function.
• Demonstrated experience supporting design, development, evaluation, or improvement of online/tech-enhanced courses.
• Experience delivering or coordinating faculty training and professional development.
• Experience with Canvas or comparable LMS and instructional technologies; project leadership or supervision experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provide leadership and operational direction for the Office of Teaching and Innovation in alignment with TU Global Campus priorities.
• Develop and implement procedures, goals, work plans, service standards, and assessment practices.
• Supervise and coordinate instructional staff; establish responsibilities and workflows.
• Identify staffing, technology, and resource needs; provide recommendations.
• Prepare reports and updates on course development, faculty training, quality reviews, and accessibility initiatives.
