Job summary

Tulsa Community College seeks an academic leader to guide Engaged Learning, faculty development, and teaching innovation. You will expand faculty capacity, improve learning outcomes, and scale instructional excellence across the college.

The role leads design and implementation of faculty development for full-time, adjunct, and chair-level staff, manages division budgets, and collaborates with stakeholders to secure grants and partnerships that advance student success.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of full-time teaching in higher education.
• Minimum 3 years in higher education leadership and faculty development.
• Demonstrated budget planning and allocation experience.
• Experience with faculty development frameworks such as QM or ACUE.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, promotion, implementation, facilitation, and assessment of faculty development programming.
• Oversee onboarding and ongoing development for full-time and adjunct faculty and Chairs/Program Directors.
• Prepare and administer the division budget in collaboration with staff and stakeholders.
• Coordinate and chair Engaged Learning advisory group and division meetings.
• Participate in governance via Academic Affairs Council and other committees.
• Build partnerships with diverse constituents for program development and assessment.
• Seek, develop, and manage external grant funds to advance the division's mission.
