Block is seeking a senior social strategist to set the social strategy, audience targeting, and success metrics across channels. You will own the content calendar, align with partnerships and Brand leads, and partner with paid teams to create a connected approach.

You will guide creators and influencers and drive the end-to-end content lifecycle. You will monitor conversations, translate signals into clear recommendations, and ensure the brand voice remains consistent across replies and posts,

Qualifikationen

• 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional communication skills: you make strategy clear and concise, and write confidently in a brand’s voice.
• Deep understanding of your audience, including the references, formats, and conversations that matter to them.
• Strong judgment about trends and their relevance to brand positioning, with the ability to distinguish a meaningful opportunity from something the brand should pass on.
• The ability to move quickly, make sound decisions, and publish work without unnecessary process.

• Set the social strategy for Square and connect it to the brand positioning.
• Define audience, success metrics, and channel fit; own the social content calendar.
• Collaborate with partnerships, Brand Lead, and other teams; be the main point of contact for requests.
• Partner with paid social to ensure a unified approach; shape creators and influencers strategy.
• Take content from idea to publication with minimal process; own community management and tone.
• Monitor social listening and translate insights into action, readouts, and escalation notes.
