Job summary

Block is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to independently lead creative and content strategy for a defined growth portfolio within Demand Generation. You’ll own initiatives from audience insight and strategic planning through development, launch, experimentation, and optimization across paid and unpaid experiences.

This senior role blends marketing, creative strategy, content development, and experimentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience across creative strategy, performance marketing, growth marketing, integrated marketing, content strategy, advertising, or a related discipline.
• Advanced fluency with AI-powered tools and workflows; regularly apply AI across research, ideation, briefing, development, analysis, and optimization.
• Strong analytical and experimentation skills; able to form hypotheses and translate results into clear recommendations.
• Experience developing messaging strategies, value propositions, or messaging hierarchies across audiences, funnel stages, channels, and formats.
• Experience independently leading complex creative or content initiatives from insight to launch and iteration.
• A strong understanding of performance marketing and the relationship between creative, media, content, and the post-click experience.

Responsibilities

• Own creative and content strategy for an assigned growth portfolio, connecting objectives, audience needs, product value propositions, and channel behavior.
• Lead initiatives from strategy through delivery and optimization.
• Build messaging frameworks that flex across paid and unpaid channels, funnel stages, formats, and landing pages.
• Identify unmet audience needs and opportunities for experimentation.
• Use performance data and trends to develop hypotheses and recommendations on what to build or test next.
• Co-develop quarterly tactical plans with leadership and channel partners.
• Own the testing roadmap for your portfolio, defining hypotheses and success measures.
• Lead new creative and content development from insight through launch.
• Write strategic briefs and coordinate partners.
• Use self-serve tools to produce and iterate when appropriate.
• Own performance reviews with analytics partners and translate learnings into next actions.
• Synthesize learnings across experiments to inform future messaging and channel strategies.
• Scale winning messages across paid and unpaid channels.
• Extend learnings into unpaid content and landing page experiences.
• Identify and execute landing page experiments to improve conversion.
• Develop AI-enabled frameworks and workflows to increase quality, speed, and scale.
• Connect creative decisions to business outcomes.
