Block, Inc. is seeking a Senior Creative Strategist to independently lead creative and content strategy for a defined growth portfolio within Demand Generation.

You’ll own initiatives from audience insight and strategic planning through development, launch, experimentation, and optimization across paid and unpaid experiences. This senior individual contributor role blends marketing, creative strategy, content development, and experimentation.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in creative strategy, performance marketing, or related fields with demonstrated ownership.
• A marketer’s mindset with strong creative judgment and business acumen.
• Advanced fluency with AI-powered tools and workflows across research, ideation, briefing, development, analysis and optimization.
• Strong analytical and experimentation skills with hypotheses and test evaluation.
• Experience developing messaging strategies and creative territories for audiences, funnels and formats.
• Independent leadership of complex creative initiatives from insight to launch, briefs and production.
• Understanding of performance marketing and the link between creative, media, content and post-click experience.
• Ability to synthesize learnings across experiments to inform future strategies.
• Strong cross-functional influence, prioritization and communication to align stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own creative and content strategy for an assigned growth portfolio, connecting objectives, audience needs and channel behavior across mid- and lower-funnel experiences.
• Build messaging frameworks and hierarchies for paid and unpaid channels and landing pages.
• Identify unmet audience needs and opportunities for experimentation with performance data and trends to guide next test.
• Co-develop quarterly tactical plans and define testing roadmaps with partners.
• Lead new creative and content development from insight to launch and guide partners.
• Own performance reviews with analytics to understand outcomes and next actions.
• Synthesize learnings across experiments to inform future messaging and channel strategies.
• Scale winning messages across paid and unpaid channels and extend learnings to other touchpoints.
• Identify landing page experiments and translate insights into tests and optimizations.
