Job summary

The City of Hollywood, Florida seeks a professional to manage AMI data integration, utility billing operations, and customer service delivery. Under the Deputy Director of Finance, this role bridges field data with municipal water/sewer financial reporting.

The incumbent ensures seamless data flow and audits to support accurate invoicing. The role directs AMI network operations, targets 99%+ read rates, coordinates with Public Utilities crews, and oversees Tyler Munis billing modules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5–7 years in utility operation/administration with 3+ years supervisory experience.
• Experience with AMI/AMR systems and CIS is required; PMP/ CPM is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct AMI network operations, including endpoints, collectors and data management.
• Maintain 99%+ read rates for monthly billing and supervise billing workflows.
• Coordinate with Public Utilities field crews on tampering, leaks, and anomalies.
• Oversee Tyler Munis utility billing module and rate setup for multiple services.
• Lead Revenue Analysts and provide data-driven insights on revenue integrity.
• Develop real-time dashboards and pursue grants for smart infrastructure.
