Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee Facility & Transportation, drive KPIs, and maintain a high-visibility presence with staff. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional customer service across the warehouse network.

The role requires at least five years of leadership in inventory/warehouse environments, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Facility & Transportation responsibilities and related operations.
• Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees.
• Create a positive work environment aligned with company values and objectives.
• Foster accountability, engagement, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Translate business vision into operational tactics to build necessary infrastructure.
• Recommend programs to improve warehouse operations to Regional Operations Director.
• Track and adjust to local market conditions impacting results.
• Report sales, operations, financial results, and other information to management.
• Drive KPIs for the assigned business unit.
• Suggest efficiency ideas and cost reductions; implement changes in inbound/outbound warehouse operations.
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets.
• Assist in training and motivating personnel for increased effectiveness.
• Lead and develop operations team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Maintain elevated levels of accuracy in daily operations.
• Operate in compliance with applicable statutes.
