Quirch Foods is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to oversee Facility & Transportation, drive KPIs, and maintain a high-visibility presence with staff. You will translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, manage budgets, and deliver exceptional customer service across the warehouse network.

The role requires at least five years of leadership in inventory/warehouse environments, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience.

• Proficient knowledge of inventory and warehouse operations.

• Lead and develop operations team to deliver unparalleled customer service.
• Maintain elevated levels of accuracy in daily operations.
• Operate in compliance with applicable statutes.

Essential duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for oversight of all Facility & Transportation responsibilities
• Maintain a high degree of visibility and access to employees

• Prioritize and adjust strategic plans and initiatives in response to organizational, regulatory, or market driven imperatives.
• Translate business vision and strategy into operational tactics in order to build the organizational support and infrastructure needed to achieve them
• Makes recommendations to the Regional Operations Director on programs to improve warehouse operations
• Track and adjust to local market conditions that impact business results
• Report sales, operations, financial results, and additional information and documentation to management team and supervisors
• Drives KPIs for assigned business unit
• Suggests efficiency ideas, cost reduction measures and assists with the implementation of changes within inbound and outbound warehouse operations. Identifies problems and proposes solutions to other members of management and promotes cooperation with other departments
• Develop and monitor operating and capital budgets
• Assists in developing a program to train and motivate personnel for increased effectiveness
• Lead and develop operations team to deliver unparalleled customer service
• Maintain elevated levels of accuracy in daily operations
• Operate in compliance with federal, state and local statutes

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor\’s degree in a relative field preferred. The equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable
• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and warehouse environment
• Appropriate time management and attention to detail
• Ability to work within a team environment and manager others
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Must be able to develop and lead highly productive teams with a focus on individual accountability
• Excellent communication and people skills
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
