Job summary

Cubic Corporation in Austin, TX seeks a Director, Service and Release Management to lead operational delivery, governance, and change control across Global Services. You will manage SDMOs, Project Managers, and Release Managers, aligning service performance with customer outcomes.

This role owns the maturity roadmap, standard processes, and end-to-end release calendars, coordinating with Tech Ops, Customer Success, and regional teams to ensure predictable, high‑quality service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related discipline.
• 10+ years in service delivery within complex, enterprise environments.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership role managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Deep ITIL knowledge, especially Incident, Problem, Change, and Release Management.
• Proven ability to lead release governance and delivery planning across multiple programs.
• Experience coordinating delivery with engineering, infrastructure, operations, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead the maturity roadmap for Service Delivery, Project Management, and Release Management.
• Define and enforce standard processes, playbooks, and operating procedures.
• Own capacity and impact planning for the function.
• Coordinate change intake and ensure readiness across environments.
• Represent the function in senior leadership forums and governance.
