Job summary

Self Storage Plus in Lorton, VA is seeking a General Manager to oversee day-to-day operations at our storage facility, including leasing, maintenance, customer relations, rent collection, and financial reporting.

The role requires managerial experience, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will lead a team, manage safety standards, and drive tenant satisfaction across the site.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a storage facility or multi-site operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and property management software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee leasing, marketing, customer relations, rent collection, maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Maintaining the property through daily maintenance checks and safety/security compliance, conducting minor repairs as needed.
• Upholding cleanliness standards throughout the property, including cleaning and upkeep tasks.
• Respond to customer inquiries, complaints, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
• Oversee the monthly auction process.
• Providing task management oversight of Assistant Store Managers and assisting in hiring as needed.
• Implement policies and procedures to maximize efficiency, minimize costs, and ensure a positive tenant experience.
