Job summary

Self Storage Plus is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Lorton, VA location. You will help manage daily operations, leasing, and maintenance, while delivering excellent tenant service and achieving sales goals.

This full-time, non-exempt role supports a growing regional portfolio in the Washington DC metro area. Responsibilities include leasing and tenant relations, security and safety walks, and keeping the facility clean and well-maintained.

Qualifications

• Managing property operations including leasing, customer relations and rent collection.
• Maintaining property safety and cleanliness through regular checks and repairs.
• Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet sales goals.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day operations of storage facilities.
• Oversee leasing and tenant relations, explain terms of occupancy and leases.
• Conduct daily property walks to ensure safety and security standards are met.
• Respond to tenant inquiries and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Assist with rent collection and financial reporting.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of storage units and common areas.
