Job summary

UCCU seeks an experienced SBA Operations and Servicing Director to oversee the SBA Department's processing, servicing, and liquidation functions, ensuring compliance with SBA requirements and bank policies. This role leads a team, manages portfolio risk, and drives timely, accurate servicing actions.

The leader will coordinate with regulators and auditors, maintain audit-ready files, and support growth while protecting the Bank and borrowers. A strong background in SBA servicing is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing SBA loan processing, servicing, and liquidation.
• Proven leadership of teams in a regulated environment.
• Experience interacting with regulators, auditors, and SBA personnel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SBA loan processing, servicing, and liquidation activities.
• Monitor performance, workflow, and service levels within the SBA department.
• Ensure audit readiness and regulatory compliance across SBA operations.
• Lead and develop SBA processing and servicing staff to improve accuracy and performance.
• Maintain preferred lender status through disciplined execution and documentation.
