Job summary

First Command Financial Services, Inc. is seeking a Vice President, SBA Program Director to lead the SBA lending function, drive strategy, and oversee operations across origination, underwriting, closing, and servicing.

You will ensure compliance with SBA rules while guiding portfolio growth and coordinating with cross-functional partners. The role requires deep SBA expertise, vision for program development, and strong leadership to coach the SBA team and align referral strategies with market

Qualifications

10+ years in commercial lending with SBA leadership responsibilities.
5+ years leading SBA 7(a) lending programs or teams.
Strong knowledge of SBA 7(a) requirements (eligibility, underwriting, closing, servicing, guaranty).

Responsibilities

Oversee daily SBA lending operations, workflow, and team performance.
Serve as SBA expertise point for eligibility, structuring, documentation, and closing.
Guide SBA lifecycle from origination to servicing and guaranty preservation.
Ensure activities align with SBA policy, internal standards, and regulatory expectations.
Lead business development efforts and coordinate with credit, operations, and closing functions.
