Papa John's USA, Inc. in Kentucky seeks a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa John's restaurant, drive profitability, ensure compliance with company policies, and lead a team including Operations Managers, shift leaders, and delivery staff.

Qualifications

• Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state(s) where the team member works, insurance, satisfactory vehicle and ability to drive.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week) including nights and weekends.

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, address deficiencies with direct reports.
• Respond professionally to customer concerns or issues.
• Solicit customer feedback and use it to improve operations and loyalty.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards.
• Oversee recruiting to meet staffing needs and enforce appearance standards.
• Set performance expectations and conduct reviews with direct reports.
• Document issues and take disciplinary action when needed.
• Coach and develop staff to build teamwork and recognize top performers.
• Manage sales against budget and prior year, drive local marketing and community presence.
• Control costs (food, labor, other) and use budgeting tools to stay within plan.
• Develop plans to resolve unfavorable trends and improve profits.
• Handle administrative and cash management duties.
• Plan inventory to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Ensure safety, security and maintenance across the restaurant.
