Job summary

Papa John's USA, Inc. in Kentucky is seeking a General Manager for Corporate Restaurant Operations to oversee all functions of a Papa John's restaurant, drive profitability, staffing, training, and adherence to company policies.

You will lead with strong planning, forecasting, and decision-making, ensure compliance with laws, manage assets and inventory, and develop teams to deliver exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years successful restaurant management or supervision experience preferred.
• High school diploma (or equivalent) required.
• Serv-Safe/Local/State Food Service Certification.
• Basic accounting including invoice reconciliation and financial statement analysis.
• Cash management skills.
• Bilingual in certain markets.
• Must have a driver’s license valid under the laws of the state where the team member works.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work long hours (50+ hours per week) including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor product quality and customer service standards, identify deficiencies, and address with the team.
• Respond promptly to customer concerns or issues.
• Recruiting and staffing to meet needs and ensure appearance standards.
• Oversee training and execution of quality standards.
• Manage sales goals and budgets, drive local marketing strategies.
• Control food, labor, and other costs to meet budget using the FOCUS System.
• Plan and manage inventory levels to meet demand and minimize loss.
• Directly supervise Operations Manager roles where applicable and ensure proper reporting.
