Job summary

Pacific Heating & Cooling in Lakewood, WA is seeking an Electrical Service Manager to build and lead the Residential Electrical Department, blending operations and technical expertise to deliver reliable service.

You will recruit, coach, and retain top electricians, implement standard procedures, ensure NEC compliance, and drive department growth in coordination with HVAC and Plumbing teams. This in-person role offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Washington State EL01 or EL02 Electrical License in good standing.
• Minimum of five years of residential electrical service and installation experience.
• Minimum of three years of leadership, supervisory, or management experience within the electrical industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing employees.
• Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, panel upgrades, service changes, and code compliance.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC, WA L&I regulations, and local permitting requirements.
• Valid WA Driver License with clean record.
• Ability to pass background checks and pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and growth of Pacific Heating & Cooling's Residential Electrical Department.
• Build a team of skilled electricians through recruiting, onboarding, coaching and retention.
• Implement department operating procedures and service standards aligned with company practices.
• Establish a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with General Manager on growth opportunities and staffing needs.
• Coordinate with HVAC and Plumbing teams for seamless customer experience and cross-training.
• Support development of maintenance agreements, pricing strategies, and long-term growth.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and resources meet operational needs.
• Stay current on industry trends and best practices.
