Job summary

CPI Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Mount Vernon, WA is seeking an experienced HVAC & Electrical Manager to oversee service and installation teams, drive profitability, and elevate customer experiences.

You will coach managers and technicians, monitor KPIs, manage budgets, and recruit top talent while ensuring safety and compliance with codes. This role offers leadership development and opportunities to shape our growing operations.

Qualifications

5+ years of leadership experience in residential HVAC and/or electrical operations.
Proven success leading service and installation teams.
Strong financial and operational acumen with budgets and KPIs.

Customer-first mindset with passion for exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the HVAC and Electrical departments.
Coach and develop Service Managers, Install Managers, technicians, and apprentices.
Drive revenue growth while maintaining gross profit performance.
Monitor KPIs: revenue, close rates, ticket size, productivity, customer satisfaction.
Partner with sales, dispatch, and operations to maximize scheduling and experience.
Recruit, hire, onboard, and retain top HVAC and Electrical talent.
Ensure work safety and regulatory compliance across all tasks.
Oversee inventory, fleet, equipment, and departmental budgets.
