Job summary

Altana is seeking the founding Head of Policy & National Security to grow and run the GPS business globally. You will own revenue growth end-to-end for the Policy & National Security vertical, shaping opportunities, and managing key government relationships.

Based in New York, Washington, DC, or London with hybrid work flexibility, you will build trust across agencies, influence product strategy, and coordinate with teams to win multi-year programs while expanding Altana's network.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in public-sector sales and revenue growth leadership.
• Deep knowledge of how the public sector buys and contracts.
• A broad network across government and industry to activate.
• Builder's instinct for leading complex initiatives and new ventures.
• Ability to translate complex technical value for government stakeholders.
• Excellent judgment and communication for senior stakeholders.
• Patience to navigate long government procurement cycles.
• Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own Altana's revenue growth for the Policy & National Security vertical—carry the number, and translate strategy into a concrete plan.
• Manage a field of sellers and own their pipeline and forecast for large-scale opportunities.
• Build and own the pipeline and forecast for the vertical, aligning with strategic bets.
• Shape opportunities by communicating Altana's value to senior government stakeholders.
• Develop relationships across agencies from operational to strategic levels.
• Own partner relationships to extend the vertical's reach with SI's, primes, and teaming partners.
• Collaborate with GPS leaders to coordinate across company-wide objectives.
• Anticipate pursuit needs and surface them internally early across teams.
• Feed policy signals into product, pricing, and strategy with clear mission outcomes.
