Job summary

Altana, a network for trusted trade, seeks a founding Head of Policy & National Security to drive revenue growth in the global public sector. Based in NY, DC, or London with hybrid flexibility, you’ll own the vertical’s strategy, pipeline, and senior government relationships to win large programs.

You will shape opportunities, coordinate across teams, and translate policy needs into product and pricing strategies while building a durable book of business.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in public-sector sales and revenue growth leadership.
• Deep knowledge of how the public sector buys and contracts.
• A network across government and industry with senior-level credibility.
• Builder's instinct to lead complex, new initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex software value for government audiences; geopolitics and national security awareness a plus.
• Excellent judgment and communication skills for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Altana's revenue growth for the Policy & National Security vertical with a concrete plan.
• Manage a field of sellers, pipeline, and forecast for large-scale government opportunities.
• Build and own the PN S pipeline and forecast with strategic, long-term agency bets.
• Shape opportunities by communicating Altana's value to senior government stakeholders.
• Develop relationships across agencies from operational to strategic levels.
• Own partner relationships with systems integrators, primes, and teaming partners.
• Coordinate with GPS leaders to align verticals with company objectives.
• Anticipate pursuit needs and surface them internally early.
• Feed policy signals into product, pricing, and company strategy.
