Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Head of Projects to lead and develop a team of Project Managers and deliver high‑value PM services on major projects. The role focuses on service excellence, client engagement, and market outreach.

The successful candidate will be a driven leader with strong interpersonal skills, able to sit in Eastern or Central time zones and drive strategy, growth, and a culture of learning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering or field related to construction.
• Graduate degree in construction management, architecture, or engineering is preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant construction project management experience.
• 2+ years managing large high performing multi discipline teams in a consulting environment.
• Proven track record of managing successful project management service delivery for clients.
• Exceptional Business development ambition and acumen and demonstrated experience in achieving drive business growth.
• Major construction sector experience working with high caliber clients in; commercial real estate, data center, life sciences, industrial manufacturing, natural resources, etc.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers and deliver PM services on major projects and programs.
• Oversee client communications and project management services.
• Lead market research and analysis of construction market conditions.
• Produce thought leadership reports with insights to the construction market.
• Manage resources, financials, business generation, and training for PM services.
• Set strategy with the team aligned to the Business Plan.
• Grow and develop people and promote learning and inclusivity.
• Identify cross-selling opportunities and develop a pipeline with existing and new clients.
• Prepare proposals and RFP responses for new clients/projects.
• Support talent acquisition and staffing planning.
