Job summary

Placer.ai seeks a seasoned Director of Pricing & Packaging to own the pricing and packaging strategy across all verticals and products. You will partner with the COO, CRO, CFO, and CEO to ensure profitability, conversions, and retention, blending qualitative and quantitative insights with cross-functional influence.

You’ll lead the monetization agenda, design tiered packaging, guardrails for discounts, and align product, sales, and finance around a shared pricing vision.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional work experience with 4+ years in pricing strategy roles
• Demonstrated success across pricing models (SaaS, usage-based, etc.) and cross-functional alignment
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration across distributed teams

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve pricing and packaging strategy across verticals and products
• Partner with executive leadership to drive monetization and profitability
• Design packaging and discounting guardrails grounded in customer value
• Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, and finance to accelerate deal velocity and penetration
• Build templates, models, and processes for rigorous pricing decisioning
• Lead ad-hoc pricing initiatives and non-standard pricing needs with Sales support
• Develop pricing analytics and enablement programs with Sales Operations
• Create and update rate cards across verticals to maximize ASP and retention
