Job summary

Databricks is seeking a Field Engineering Manager to lead a skilled pre-sales team in Denmark, driving value-based solutions and close collaboration with Sales. You will mentor, coach, and align teams to growth while upholding Databricks’ customer-first values in a remote Danish arrangement.

You will partner with cross-functional leaders to articulate data, analytics, and AI value, shaping solutions for large organisations and strategic partners across the Nordic region.

Qualifications

• Experience managing or leading technical teams in Big Data, Cloud, SaaS, or similar environments.
• Track record of leading, mentoring, and scaling pre-sales, consulting, or technical field organisations.
• Understanding of consumption-based or subscription business models and how decisions affect outcomes.
• Ability to collaborate with Sales and cross-functional leaders.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; English required, Danish preferable.
• Technical background in Data Engineering/Databases/Data Science; consulting experience is a plus.
• Curiosity and passion for data, AI, and cloud technologies, and the ability to articulate business value.

• Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Product, and Services for a seamless customer experience.
• Represent Databricks on the regional leadership team and contribute to Nordic market presence.
