Job summary

Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Finance & Strategy leader to own the financial strategy for the Claude Platform and design pricing and packaging for new capabilities. Qualifications

• Experience in strategic finance, product finance, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on experience with consumption-based business models and forecasting.
• Experience with infrastructure, cloud, or developer platforms and unit economics.
• Track record of designing and launching pricing or business models.
• Experience partnering with product teams to inform roadmap decisions.
• Advanced financial modeling skills in spreadsheets and SQL.
• Ability to present recommendations to executive leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication of financial tradeoffs.
• Interest in AI and commitment to Anthropic's mission.

Responsibilities

• Own financial strategy for Claude Platform pricing and packaging.
• Design and launch new pricing models and service tiers.
• Set pricing for new product features in collaboration with product and ENG.
• Analyze cost-to-serve and translate efficiency gains into pricing.
• Partner with FP&A, accounting, and revenue ops to ensure forecasting and billing alignment.
• Mentor Product Finance team on pricing decisions.
• Define metrics and dashboards to track pricing performance.
• Provide recommendations on pricing and strategic bets to leadership.
• Contribute to roadmaps with a clear financial perspective.
