Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a senior Finance & Strategy leader to own the financial strategy for the Claude Platform (API). You will design pricing and packaging, shape service tiers, and monetize new capabilities, working closely with product, engineering, and go-to-market teams.

You will sit on the Product Finance team, owning complex pricing decisions and linking cost-to-serve with platform economics, while guiding executives with clear financial tradeoffs.

Qualifications

• Experience in strategic finance or product finance with ownership of pricing or business model decisions.
• Hands-on pricing, packaging, and forecasting for usage-based models.
• Strong understanding of compute costs and capacity driving unit economics.
• Ability to design pricing decisions and present to executives.
• Advanced financial modeling and SQL data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own financial strategy for the Claude Platform API, including pricing, packaging, discounting, and commercial terms across self-serve, enterprise, and cloud partner channels.
• Design and launch new business models for the platform and new products, such as capacity commitments, service tiers, and usage-based pricing.
• Set pricing for new product features in collaboration with product, engineering, and GTM teams.
• Partner with infra and inference teams to understand cost-to-serve changes and tie efficiency gains to pricing decisions.
• Work with product leaders on roadmap priorities, launch sequencing, and business cases for new bets.
