Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering with leadership.
• Proven track record building multi-team engineering organizations.
• Deep fluency in cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and Kubernetes.
• Experience shipping platform/infrastructure software into regulated environments.
• Ability to operate between strategic planning and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-performing engineering organization spanning Platform Eng, DevOps, Cloud, and ML.
• Hire and develop senior engineers with clear career paths and expectations.
• Coach managers and leads to scale leadership and accountability.
• Own delivery outcomes for the platform roadmap with quality and velocity.
• Establish scalable development and release processes across the org.
• Clarify ownership and dependencies while aligning to platform standards.
• Partner with Architecture to align with reference architecture and direction.
• Own platform strategy and separation of owned vs customer-owned components.
• Set standards for code quality, testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Ensure security red lines and tenant isolation meet regulatory expectations.
