Job summary

Future Secure AI is seeking a visionary VP of Platform Engineering to own execution across the engineering organization, leading Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, and Data Platforms for an enterprise AI platform. You will ensure delivery, reliability, and operational integrity while balancing velocity with rigorous security and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of software engineering experience including senior leadership roles.
• Experience shipping platform or infrastructure software into regulated environments with strong security requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud, and ML across multiple teams.
• Coach engineering managers and principals to scale leadership and accountability.
• Own delivery outcomes for the platform roadmap including predictability and velocity.
• Establish scalable development and release processes across the organization.
• Partner with Architecture to ensure alignment with reference architecture and platform direction.
• Own platform strategy and modularity decisions for customer environments.
• Set and uphold standards for code quality, testing, observability, and production readiness.
• Ensure security red lines and tenant isolation meet enterprise expectations.
• Lead incident response and drive durable fixes and governance.
• Collaborate with Product/Architecture/SA to translate customer signals into work.
• Support active enterprise accounts through deployment and governance decisions.
• Communicate tradeoffs honestly to leadership.
