Job summary

Engine is building a scalable AI-native platform to power enterprise AI initiatives. You will own the AI Platform rails, gateway, and agent framework, guiding a high-caliber team to deliver secure, reliable infrastructure for Applied AI across the company.

You will partner with senior leaders to drive execution, shape the platform strategy, and ensure cost controls and governance. This is a leadership role with significant impact on product delivery and engineering culture.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in software or platform engineering.
• 5+ years leading engineering teams or orgs.
• 3+ years hands-on with production AI/ML.

Responsibilities

• Own the AI Platform core rails, gateway, and libraries.
• Lead the Velocity program and automate code merging gates.
• Build and scale an AI native platform org with Directors and principal engineers.
• Define the enterprise AI roadmap and ensure cross-domain alignment.
