Job summary

Current is seeking a Senior Director, People Technology to lead the transformation of our people systems, data, and processes across a rapidly growing, acquisition-driven organization. You will own data governance and establish reliable employee data while designing, building, and launching Rippling to replace UKG.

You will work across HR, Payroll, Finance, Tech, Data, and acquired firms to ensure implementation outcomes, governance, and a technology roadmap that supports continued growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in HRIS, People Technology, HR operations, or enterprise applications.
• Demonstrated ownership of a major HCM implementation through launch and optimization.
• Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes including payroll, benefits, talent management, and planning.
• Experience managing system integrations, data migration, governance, reporting, security controls, and vendors in complex orgs.
• Proven people leadership, program management, process design, and executive communication skills.
• Ability to travel and support flexible hours during implementations, acquisitions, payroll testing, and critical releases.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UKG-to-Rippling implementation, including design, data migration, testing, cutover, and retirement of UKG.
• Own program governance, milestones, risks, budget, vendor performance, and executive updates.
• Serve as enterprise product owner for Rippling and maintain a multiyear people technology roadmap.
• Harmonize processes across core HR, payroll, benefits, time, recruiting, onboarding, performance, learning, compensation, and planning.
• Oversee integration architecture and data flows between people systems and enterprise platforms.
• Lead people systems and data integration for acquired firms and coordinate migrations.
• Own people data standards, quality, reporting, privacy, access controls, and audit readiness.
• Automate employee processes, optimize adjacent platforms, and consolidate tools for efficiency.
• Develop the People Technology team and manage implementation partners, consultants, vendors, contracts.
