Marquee Brands seeks a Director, Human Resources in New York to act as a strategic partner to executive leadership and oversee HR operations, talent acquisition, performance, compensation and compliance. The role combines strategic influence with hands-on execution across policy and culture-building.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in HR, leadership experience, and strong knowledge of US and UK employment laws, compensation design, and employee relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
• Master's degree and/or SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, CIPD, or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executives to align HR strategy with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on organizational design, workforce planning and change initiatives.
• Design and implement HR programs to improve engagement, retention and performance.
• Use analytics to inform decisions and measure HR impact.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for leadership roles.
• Oversee compensation and benefits planning and benchmarking.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws (US/UK) and HR policies.
• Drive culture, engagement and DEI initiatives.
