Job summary

Rate is seeking a Director of Human Resources to guide HR operations and employee relations while building a high-impact HR Business Partner team in the United States. You will sharpen processes, elevate HR’s service to the business, and handle complex people matters at leadership level.

This role requires 10+ years in HR with 5+ years leading teams, deep employment-law knowledge across states, and a track record of strategic partnerships.

Qualifications

• 10+ years progressive HR experience with 5+ years leading a team.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field.
• Deep understanding of federal and multi-state employment law.
• Experience handling complex workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations including data integrity, reporting, and lifecycle processes.
• Serve as escalation point for investigations, performance issues, and separations.
• Ensure compliance with federal and multi-state employment laws.
• Develop and scale a team of HR Business Partners as strategic partners.
