The Cincinnati Museum Center is seeking a Director, Payroll, Benefits & HRIS to lead payroll processing, benefits and HRIS strategy from on-site Cincinnati, OH. This role reports to the AVP, HR Strategy & Operations and drives accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across compensation and HR technology.

Responsibilities include end-to-end payroll, benefits renewals, retirement plan administration, HRIS governance, analytics, and collaboration with Finance, IT, brokers, and vendors to deliver

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business, finance, or related field; equivalent experience considered.
• Advanced degree and certifications (SPHR, SHRM-SCP, CPP, CEBS) preferred.
• 5-8 years of progressively responsible payroll/benefits/HRIS experience; retirement plan admin exp preferred.
• Supervisory experience is not required.
• Strong controls, process improvement, risk management, and cross-functional project leadership.
• Experience with payroll/benefits/tax/compliance (FLSA, ACA, COBRA, ERISA, HIPAA).
• Experience with HRIS/payroll platforms, preferably Paycor; integrations and reporting.
• Strong analytical/financial acumen; budget and vendor management.

Aufgaben

• Own end-to-end payroll processing for bi-weekly cycles and timekeeping for a mixed workforce.
• Establish payroll controls, audits, reconciliations, and corrective actions; resolve escalated issues.
• Manage payroll tax compliance, including multi-state withholdings and year-end processing (W-2s).
• Develop payroll metrics and leadership-facing reporting; monitor regulatory changes and implement updates.
• Partner with Finance on GL reconciliation, accruals, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support.
• Own benefits administration: open enrollment, eligibility, enrollments, vendor feeds, and invoicing.
• Coordinate with broker/vendors; deliver benefits communications and enrollment support.
• Administer retirement plan: eligibility, deferrals, contributions, remittance.
• Oversee HRIS roadmap and governance; lead system implementations, configs, audits, and analytics.
• Provide data-driven workforce insights to AVP/leadership and support regulatory reporting.
