Job summary

Metabase is seeking its first Head of Partnerships to own and grow relationships with AI platforms and data warehouse providers. You will manage both seller-level and leadership relationships, design co-selling motions, and turn partnerships into measurable pipeline while aligning internal teams around partner-led growth.

This senior role requires a track record of building partnerships functions and delivering revenue impact in a fast-growing startup.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in partnerships or business development with end-to-end ownership.
• Experience building partnerships functions in a startup context.
• Able to operate across executive and practitioner levels.
• Proven track record turning partnerships into pipeline and revenue.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical/commercial audiences.
• Bonus: existing relationships within the AI or data warehouse ecosystems.
• Bonus: experience with open-source or developer tools.

Responsibilities

• Own and deepen Metabase’s partner relationships with AI vendors and data warehouses.
• Develop multi-threaded relationships across seller, field, and leadership levels.
• Design and run co-selling and co-marketing motions to generate pipeline.
• Represent Metabase in strategic partner discussions and resolve friction.
• Create systems and cadences to turn partnerships into a measurable function.
• Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities as the ecosystem grows.
• Advocate for partners internally and surface their roadmaps to Sales, Marketing, Product.
