Job summary
CVS Health seeks a Lead Director - Cloud and Platform Engineering to shape the multi-cloud strategy across Google Cloud Platform, AWS and Microsoft Azure. This leader will drive architecture, platform engineering, automation, and production readiness for Health100 and PCW at enterprise scale.
The role requires strong partnerships across Platform Engineering, DevOps/Operations, Production SRE, Security, Identity, Data, Enterprise Architecture, and Application Engineering.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, DevOps or SRE.
- 5+ years of technology leadership or equivalent.
- 7+ years of deep engineering in GCP/AWS/Azure.
- 5+ years with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD patterns.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities
- Own the multi-cloud platform engineering strategy and roadmap for Health100 and PCW across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
- Lead architecture, engineering and lifecycle management of enterprise cloud platforms.
- Convert priorities into executable delivery plans and manage dependencies and risks.
- Establish production readiness standards, SLOs/SLIs, and cost-conscious delivery.
- Develop self-service platform capabilities and reusable engineering patterns.
