Job summary

Collectors is seeking a Director, Business Insights & Analytics to own the data and insights function across PSA Marketplace, Vault, and eBay Consignment. You will transform data into decisions for Marketplace leadership while leading a lean team and acting as connective tissue between business, data, product, and cross-functional partners.

You will report to the President, Marketplace. Remote/hybrid options exist; onsite may be required within commuting distance.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience using data to drive business insights.
• Player / Coach DNA: hands-on with SQL and mentoring a lean analytics team.
• Strong business acumen; able to translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communicator across executives, analysts, and engineers.
• Experience with large datasets, reporting, and data pipelines (dbt a plus).
• Familiarity with collectibles or alternative assets is a plus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the Marketplace analytics stack and monitor key metrics (sellers, buyers, GMV, LTV).
• Partner with GMs and BD to test ideas with data and size opportunities.
• Coordinate with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Marketing for a unified data view.
• Provide product insights on feature usage, funnels, and cohort performance.
• Deliver marketing insights and inform acquisition and GTM investments.
• Collaborate with Central Data teams to design data models and infrastructure.
• Support fraud detection with data signals and risk indicators.
• Deliver recurring insights and ad-hoc analyses to leadership and Board.
