This Director role reports to the President, Marketplace, and leads a lean team to transform transactional, marketing, operational, product, and behavioral data into strategic decisions. The ideal candidate has 7–10+ years in data analytics for marketplaces or ecommerce, strong SQL skills, and experience with BI tools and data

Qualifications

• 7-10+ years of experience driving analyses & insights in marketplaces/FinTech/eCommerce
• You can write SQL and guide a lean analytics team
• Strong business acumen with ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
• Experience with BI tools and data pipelines for reporting and insights

Responsibilities

• Define and own the analytics stack to monitor key metrics (GMV, AUM, LTV, funnels)
• Partner with GMs/BD to size opportunities and validate assumptions
• Coordinate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Finance, Operations, Marketing
• Deliver product and marketing insights to inform strategy and investments
• Collaborate with Central Data to define data models and infrastructure needs
• Coordinate with Fraud team on data signals and risk indicators
• Provide recurring and ad hoc insights to executives and boards
