Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, IT Business Operations in Tulsa, OK. The role focuses on planning, organizing, and directing IT spend-to-value optimization across Global IT, with governance for contracts, cloud FinOps, and enterprise software costs.

You will lead the IT budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, collaborating with Corporate Finance and Procurement, and guide senior leadership on IT investment value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in finance, business, information technology, or related field, or 10+ years of experience.
• 10+ years of IT business operations, finance, vendor management, FinOps, or TBM, leading teams and large budgets.
• Global, multi-entity or post‑merger experience preferred.
• GAAP and financial controls familiarity required.
• Advanced knowledge of IT financial management and vendor/contract management.
• Advanced knowledge of Cloud FinOps and cloud cost optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of software asset/license management and SaaS portfolio management.
• Strong communication, executive presence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Directs and supervises the IT Business Operations team.
• Determines priorities and work assignments.
• Owns IT contract and spend-to-value strategy across software, SaaS, and services.
• Establishes Cloud FinOps governance and cost optimization.
• Governs MSP and partner spend and performance.
• Leads spend intelligence and reporting for IT leadership and Corporate Finance.
