Job summary

Helmerich and Payne, Inc. in Tulsa, OK seeks a Manager, Data Engineering to lead the design, development, governance of enterprise data platforms, enabling BI, reporting, and analytics. The role is on-site and reports to a senior data leadership tier.

You will mentor data engineers and architects, drive cloud migration, and ensure data quality, governance, and security while collaborating with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to deliver scalable data solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical field.
• 8+ years in data warehousing, data engineering, or analytics.
• 3+ years of technical leadership or management experience.
• Experience with enterprise data modeling and ETL/ELT development.
• Experience with cloud data platforms and ERP data integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor teams of data engineers, ETL/ELT developers, BI developers, and data architects.
• Define and execute enterprise data warehouse and data engineering strategy.
• Design and maintain enterprise data lakes and lakehouse architectures.
• Build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
• Lead migration from legacy platforms to modern cloud ecosystems.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Supply Chain, and IT to deliver analytics solutions.
• Ensure data quality, governance, security, and operational excellence.
