Job summary

Helmerich & Payne, Inc. is seeking a Director to lead Global Enterprise & Rig Technology Operations from Tulsa.

You will own the global IT infrastructure, rig connectivity, data centers, cloud hosting, and security operations to ensure high availability for drilling operations. The role requires extensive leadership, strategic planning, and the ability to manage cross‑functional teams across multiple regions in a follow‑the‑sun model.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive infrastructure and operations experience.
• Strong leadership of geographically distributed teams.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise infrastructure (networks, data centers, cloud) and security.
• Experience in follow-the-sun 24x7 operations and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Define operating model for enterprise and rig technology services across global teams.
• Lead global infrastructure and rig technology operations for uptime and performance.
• Drive major infrastructure initiatives, modernization, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee 24x7 follow-the-sun coverage with NOC rotations and on-call structures.
• Partner with Cybersecurity, Governance, Risk & Compliance on audits and controls.
