Atlantic Group in New York City seeks a Head of Human Resources to lead the people function and drive HR strategy. This role partners with the executive team to hire, pay, develop and retain talent, blending strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

The Head of HR will oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, compensation, payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance and operations, reporting to the Co-Founder & CFO. Hybrid work with in-office Monday–Thursday, remote Friday.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or related field.
• 8+ years HR experience, preferably in staffing/recruiting, with experience supporting temporary/contract workforces.
• Generalist background across recruiting, compensation & payroll, benefits, employee relations and compliance.
• Hands-on payroll and benefits administration experience, including leave programs (FMLA, NY PFL) and ACA reporting (1094-C/1095-C).
• Working knowledge of employment law.

Position summary

The Head of Human Resources owns the people function at Atlantic Group. This person sets HR strategy, runs day-to-day HR operations, and advises leadership on everything that affects how we hire, pay, develop and keep our people. The role is both strategic and hands-on, and partners closely with the executive team.

• Salary range: $150k–$200k based on experience
