Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s craftsman knowledge level in a professional field and seven years related work experience, or an equivalent combination with ten years of experience.
• Five years of experience in sanitary inspection and five years as a Sanitary Inspector in Housing Enforcement.
• Valid Driver’s License and MA PHIT training in process or completed.

• Communicate on behalf of the department with property owners, tenants, and stakeholders.
• Oversee enforcement orders for ownership and delivery.
• Supervise staff in the Housing Division.
• Plan staff operations according to schedules and priorities.
• Provide onboarding, training, and mentoring for new employees.
• Attend required trainings to stay current with laws and regulations.
• Coordinate interdepartmental cooperation and participate in hearings.
