Town of Mansfield is seeking a full-time Registered Sanitarian or Environmental Health Inspector to perform health inspections and related environmental health fieldwork in our district. The position reports to the Chief Sanitarian and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, public health, or related field.
• 3–5 years relevant experience for Registered Sanitarian.
• DPH certification in food service inspection and Registered Sanitarian license issued by CT DPH; phase 1 & 2 subsurface sewage certification.

• Conduct health inspections and environmental health field work.
