Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a seasoned Hotel Housekeeping Manager for Hotel Chicago Downtown, Autograph Collection. You will lead housekeeping and laundry operations, manage budgets, and schedule teams to ensure pristine guest rooms and public spaces.

The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, and cross-department collaboration to maintain high service standards in a dynamic hotel environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of management experience, with at least 3 years in housekeeping management.
• Experience managing in-house operated laundry operations.
• Thorough knowledge of housekeeping and laundry operations.
• Able to work with other department leaders.
• Able to resolve guest, supervisor, and associate conflicts.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and stay organized.
• Team player with or without accommodation.
• Knowledge of hotel operations, budgeting, and planning.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and monitor staff workload to meet cleanliness and maintenance standards.
• Develop housekeeping and laundry budget and control expenses.
• Conduct inventory of guest supplies, equipment, and linen.
• Schedule labor to align with occupancy and events.
• Interact with guests to resolve issues and maintain satisfaction.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and rehab projects.
