Job summary

HEI Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor for the Freehand Chicago location to maintain the building and ensure a safe, clean guest experience. You will lead the housekeeping team, assign tasks, and monitor performance to achieve high standards.

This role requires hands-on supervision, strong communication, and the ability to train staff, manage schedules, and respond to guest requests promptly, all while controlling costs and upholding HEI's service standards.

Qualifications

• Housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to grasp, lift, carry or move materials weighing up to 100 lbs. with or without accommodation.
• Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the housekeeping staff; provide training, coaching, and performance feedback.
• Interview, hire, train, evaluate performance, and address disciplinary issues as needed.
• Supervise and inspect cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back of house to maintain high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
• Assign tasks and manage supplies to control inventory and expenses while ensuring adequate coverage.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns to ensure satisfaction.
• Log Lost & Found items and handle inquiries to maintain controls.
