Job summary

LAZ Parking is seeking a Director of Parking Operations - Events to oversee the financial, operational, safety, and service performance of event parking across the market. You will plan and execute parking operations for high-volume events, managing Event Operations Managers and frontline teams to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The role requires strong leadership, workforce planning, client relationship management, and the ability to drive profitability in fast-paced venues and events.

Qualifications

• Experience managing large-scale events and multi-site operations.
• Proven ability to plan staffing, budgets, and safety protocols.
• Leadership of Event Operations Managers and frontline staff.
• Strong client relationship and venue partnership skills.
• Willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the financial, operational, safety, and service success of all event parking operations.
• Lead planning and execution of parking operations for large-scale events.
• Develop strategies to maximize revenue and control labor and operating expenses.
• Build and maintain client and venue relationships through regular communication.
• Collaborate with clients, venue leadership, security, law enforcement, transportation partners, and other stakeholders as necessary.
• Manage, plan, schedule, train, and direct the activities of Event Operations Managers and other operational leaders.
• Ensure staffing levels based on event attendance, parking inventory, and contractual requirements.
• Promote safety, accountability, hospitality, and operational excellence across all locations.
• Conduct regular operational and safety audits and address incidents.
