Job summary

Grainger is seeking an experienced leader to provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume distribution center. You will drive process improvements, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and manage a diverse team across multiple shifts.

The role requires a strong background in distribution operations, people leadership, and a track record of achieving service and cost goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in business, logistics, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible management experience in a high-volume, multi-shift operation.
• Strong process improvement, analytical, and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-volume distribution center.
• Direct development and implementation of processes to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ensure compliance with state/federal employment law, OSHA, DOT and EPA regulations.
• Lead DC leadership team to foster continual process improvement and employee engagement.
