Grainger is seeking a Sr. Director, Distribution Operations to lead a large, complex distribution network and deliver top-tier service, safety, quality, and cost performance.

You will drive standardization across campuses, mentor DC leaders, and ensure efficient flow from suppliers to customers. The role requires strategic leadership, strong communication, and a track record of optimizing high-volume fulfillment operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication and financial management skills.
• Experience in high-volume distribution/fulfillment environments; multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operations of a large, multi-site distribution center.
• Lead Pillar teams to standardize processes and costs.
• Develop DC leaders and align them with the company strategy.
• Drive safety, quality and productivity improvements across the network.
• Ensure smooth product flow from supplier to branches and customers.
• Manage inventory of $200M+ and serve 1.4M+ customers.
