Job summary

Grainger, a leading broad line distributor, is seeking a senior operations leader to oversee our Outbound (picking and packing) team in a high-volume, multi‑shift distribution center. You will manage up to 4 salaried supervisors and influence a large non‑exempt workforce to ensure on‑time order fulfillment and cost-effective operations.

You will use data (production, safety, quality, cycle time, and finance) to identify variations and drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, and Operations.
• 3+ years progressively responsible management experience in a high volume, multi‑shift operation.
• Experience managing large employee populations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outbound (picking and packing) operations in a high-volume, multi‑shift distribution center.
• Supervise up to 4 salaried supervisors; provide indirect leadership to up to 100 non-exempt employees.
• Analyze performance using production, safety, quality, cycle time, and financial data to drive improvements and communicate with leadership.
• Lead projects and ensure deliverables are completed by agreed dates.
