Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor at our Denver, CO distribution center. You will lead an outbound operations team, coach up to 20 members, ensure safety and process adherence, and drive continuous improvement on the production floor.

You will report to a Manager, Distribution Process and oversee one of our high-volume, multi-shift centers while promoting Grainger's culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
• 2+ years leadership experience in high-volume, multi-shift distribution.
• Lift 60+ lbs may be needed.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Experience coaching and developing direct reports.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze production, safety, quality, cycle time, financial data and coach your team.
• Support DC wide projects and ensure deliverables are completed by dates.
• Create a positive workplace culture and develop staff.
• Provide coaching to help team improve, including training and performance reviews.
• Demonstrate root-cause thinking and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Teach why we follow standard processes to improve customer experience.
• Follow audit systems to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
