Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Director of Product Management for Health Data Interoperability to define the vision and roadmap for healthcare data interoperability. You will lead a team of Product Owners and collaborate with Engineering, Clinical Informatics, and Executive leadership to deliver scalable, compliant data exchange solutions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Product Management, Healthcare Technology, Health Informatics, or Interoperability Solutions.
• 5+ years leading product teams and complex healthcare technology portfolios.
• 5+ years building enterprise SaaS, platform, API, or healthcare data products.
• 4+ years with HL7, FHIR, SMART on FHIR, CDA, X12, TEFCA and related standards.
• 4+ years delivering measurable business outcomes.
• 3+ years with cloud-based platforms, APIs, data platforms, and healthcare integration technologies.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in product lifecycle management, roadmap development, market analysis, and portfolio prioritization.
• Experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Meditech, or Athenahealth (preferred).
• Knowledge of CMS interoperability mandates and information blocking regulations (preferred).
• SAFe Agile or similar certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the long-term product strategy and roadmap for health data interoperability solutions.
• Identify market opportunities and industry trends related to healthcare interoperability, data exchange, patient access, and care coordination.
• Drive product innovation aligned with objectives, customer needs, and healthcare standards.
• Partner with executive leadership to establish strategic priorities for interoperability products and platforms.
• Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept through launch, adoption, optimization, and retirement.
• Prioritize product investments based on value, impact, and regulatory requirements.
• Develop business cases, success metrics, and ROI analyses to support initiatives.
• Define product KPIs and measure performance through adoption, revenue growth, and outcomes.
• Lead product strategy for interoperability standards including HL7, FHIR, APIs, CDA, X12, and TEFCA.
• Ensure products meet regulatory and compliance requirements for data exchange.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance interoperability initiatives.
• Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Compliance, and Clinical teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Engage with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to support positioning and adoption.
• Mentor and develop Product Managers and Product Owners.
