Job summary

DNV seeks a Head of Department (VP) Growth, Strategy & Market Development to shape the next phase of growth for Energy Management. You will build and lead a national, multidisciplinary team responsible for winning new business and developing scalable client solutions.

You will connect market insights with DNV expertise to create differentiated offerings, lead priority pursuits, and strengthen pricing, quality, and execution capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years in growth strategy within utilities, energy services or related markets.
• Strong ability to influence outcomes across a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Deliver sales-growth objectives by building new client relationships and expanding accounts.
• Lead market strategies and develop external partnerships to strengthen positioning.
• Advance program design and innovation with cross-organization collaboration.
• Lead priority proposals, pricing, and contract negotiations with Legal teams.
• Oversee a multidisciplinary team for implementation and delivery excellence.
• Promote AI, data, and digital tools to improve decision-making and performance.
• Foster a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous learning.
